Links - The Monday Edition

I've been out of town for the past few days, so I don't have any brilliant insights to add to this weekend other than its nice to get a sweep even in a two game series. 14-16 through 30 games? A little disappointing considering the 9-6 start, but if I was told in March that the offense would average under four a game and be 14-16 through 30 games, I'd have jumped for joy. Time to get the bats rolling, boys.

  • Gil Meche had his first truly good start of the year and picked up a win. Hopefully that gets him going for the rest of the year. This story also comes equipped with the standard Star pixelated photo, so its a two-fer.
  • Rany gives his State of the Royals address for May/looking back on April.
  • Sam Mellinger takes a look at John Bale and his fight with the door.
  • The Royal Tower checks in with the top 10 prospects in the organization and sees how their status has changed in the season's first month.

Apparently its a slow day everywhere. If I run across more, I'll send 'em your way.
